What are innovative ways that technology can be integrated into Health Education?

I believe the future of Health Education will rely on the integration of technology. In a technology based society, kids are more likely to stay indoors to play video games, use the computer, text on a cell phone, or just watch television instead of reading books, and using traditional study habits. So as health educators, we must find effective ways to link core health concepts to classroom technology to motivate our students. Therefore, I think is imperative that we use 21st century resources such as classroom websites, podcasts, wikis, blogs, and webquests. We as educators must be a "technology step" ahead of our students in order to foster technology rich learning. Take a look the video below and reflect on how technology was used during your grade school experience and recommend ways in which technology should be integrated into today's, 21st century classroom.
